We left our ‘corporate’ jobs to ‘live the dream’ and took over running Willow Bridge in late 2019. We have updated and decorated the B&B and we really hope you find the fresh ‘pared back’ style welcoming and relaxing. We moved to Sidmouth from Liverpool and Manchester and we are definitely settling in slowly to the pace of life in Devon.

Paul, originally from Anfield, is missing Liverpool FC but a local pub shows the games so he can sometimes be found there! There are some great local restaurants we enjoy; our favourite which is 5 mins walk away is Neil's and neither of us can resist a cake at Someday Something or The Clock Tower. We are also both eagerly awaiting the opening of Rockfish here in Sidmouth in the old Drill Hall near the Gig Rowing club.

The other member of the Willow Bridge family is our dog Chewie who loves running in The Byes and on the beach when he can. We all enjoy a long walk and have hiked with him round the Sid Valley Ring, across Peak Hill to Otterton and up Salcombe Hill to the Donkey Sanctuary. He is a super friendly dog and he is also very boisterous so while you may see him ‘out and about’ he is never in the B&B itself!

recent news

Our first season comes to a close!

A season of two halves - a very challenging early summer while we waited for news that we could open in July with COVID-19 changes in place - and a lovely busy 3 months through from July to October. Our guests made it all worthwhile and we really appreciate the many thank you cards and lovely comments we received from you. We are now closing for the winter in the hope that we will see many of you again next year and that 2021 is a longer and more successful season🤞 Please contact us for next year's prices and availability.

The end of summer

It is the end of summer and we are hoping the next few weeks are enjoyable for our guests who have booked an autumn break!

New friends at the B&B
